how it works
When you walk into Fuel Cycling, you can expect a great workout, great people, and a great experience from start to finish.
Choose your membership option and book your workouts either online or by phone at (831) 884-2377 or download our app.
Once your workout is booked, get ready for loud music, good vibes, and an unmatched community atmosphere. Each instructor curates their own playlist, and each workout is paced to the beat of the music. Workouts are both in and out of the saddle (seat), and every single portion of your workout can be modified to fit your comfort and fitness level.


How to prepare
Your workout begins before you arrive at the studio! Prepare for your Fuel Cycling experience like you would any other high intensity workout: drink plenty of water beforehand, bring a full bottle with you, and plan to stay hydrated after your workout.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to familiarize yourself with The Tank (the cycling area) and your instructor. Bring your water bottle, towel, and cycling shoes if you have them. If not, don’t worry–we have shoes available for rent for $2. Don’t forget to bring a great attitude, energy, and party-ready vibes!

COURSES CURATED FOR YOU

A 50-minute rhythm-based strength workout. Each session will focus on core in addition to Lower Body, Upper Body, or Full Body. At Fuel Cycling, each strength session has a playlist curated by the instructor designed to assist our community to maximize increased mobility, building strength, and building up complexity of compound movements. We mix it up with dumbbells, resistance bands and body weight movements. No matter what your strength goals are, we are here to support you!
The perfect class when you can’t decide what type of workout suits your taste. Our signature fusion 65 minute full-body workout combines our signature rhythm-based cycling and rhythm-based full body weighted strength formats. The entire workout is driven by an instructor-curated playlist designed to match your energy and effort in The Tank. The workout is broken into 3 segments: CYCLE, STRENGTH, CYCLE. In each of the cycling sessions, expect to increase your heart rate, and challenge your body to match the rhythm of sprints and heavy-hills. The strength portion is built upon compound full-body movements with dumbbells, body weight and resistance bands. Expect intensity all the way through to crush your workout!
A 45-minute full-body cycling workout. At Fuel Cycling we offer rhythm-based cycling classes that are driven by an instructor curated music playlist. Expect dim lights, loud music, some dancing, and an epic community. The ride will include hills, sprints, and the best workout you will experience on the Monterey Peninsula!
FuelFusion is another new format we just launched the same time we launched Strength50.
The Fusion class incorporates both Cycling and Strength. We have this included in the cycling membership, or a cycling drop in credit (no additional cost).

School Staff, Health Care Worker, Couples, and Military discounts are available with a valid ID. See terms and conditions to properly cancel recurring memberships as we ask for a 10 day written notice prior to your next invoice.
Everyone is welcome, and we encourage everyone to come in to try a class! Our workouts are accessible to all fitness levels and all body types. Every ride can be adjusted to meet you wherever you are most comfortable.
If you have any prior health concerns or any other concerns you feel we should know about prior to your workout, please communicate with your instructor before your workout. We would love to help support you in finding a way to feel successful at Fuel Cycling.
Yes! Parking is available in the back, behind the studio space. From Olmsted Road, turn left onto Garden Road. At the second entrance, turn left to find parking near our front door entrance.
We have a few rules to ensure that every ride is amazing and our studio remains a safe, comfortable space for everyone:
- No cell phones allowed in the studio.
- Doors to each ride will close 2 minutes after the ride begins.
- Always be respectful of our space and everyone in it.
We understand that plans change and life happens. Because our class sizes are limited and workouts are in demand, all cancellations must be made 6 hours prior to the class start time. Late cancellations made less than 6 hours in advance will result in a $15 late cancel fee if you are an Unlimited member OR forfeiture of a workout credit if you are a pack member. Fail to show up for your workout, you will be charged a “No show” fee of $25.
We are following the guidelines as set forth by the CDC (please refer to the CDC website for the most updated guidelines). At this time, unvaccinated individuals must wear a mask in the studio. Please remain respectful of other members’ comfort in returning to a closed studio space.
